While blemishes are a fact of life, they are basically NEVER welcome visitors on anyone’s face. It seems as though we’ve all tried every trick in the book in an attempt to be rid of them; acne creams, tea tree oil, even toothpaste…

An rms flower and a handful of little pots of gold…
I am absolutely loving rms beauty. I’ve been using the lip2cheek in ‘Illusive’ since late last year, and it is without a doubt my FAVOURITE product to use. Ever. Seriously, if I could only use one piece of makeup for the rest of my life, I would choose Illusive without a second thought. Nudus Australia‘s ’27 Kisses’ lipstick is becoming ever-increasingly popular among natural beauty bloggers, and I was super keen to try it out for myself to see what all the fuss was about.

I’ve heard a lot about ‘beauty boxes’; the trend of ordering home-delivered boxes full of sample products from online beauty retailers. I’ve always been a bit put off by such boxes, as most of them are monthly, and subsequently a tad overwhelming. With the exception of full-time beauty editors, I don’t think anyone has the time or patience to try all those products every month! Face: I start by preparing my skin with rose water toner, and then a few drops of pure jojoba oil – The Jojoba Company is my favourite brand to use. I then use the Sukin Facial Moisturiser and apply my Ere Perez foundation with a brush, or, if I feel like lighter coverage, I mix the foundation with my moisturiser and apply with my fingers. I only recently heard about Green Organics, a little makeup and skincare shop in Sydney, located right near Wynyard Station in the Metcentre. If you’re a Sydney resident then check them out! They also have a great online store.
I think I hadn’t heard of them until recently because they don’t seem to do social media in a big way! Regardless, I was thrilled to find them. I was in heaven in their store! I was able to test out some products from some lovely brands that I’ve been interested in for ages.
