EcoBrow Defining Wax in ‘Penelope’ & Defining Brush / Wintery beauty = big brows!

Marco Ochoa’s EcoBrow Defining Eyebrow Wax is something I’ve been dying to try for ages now!!! I’ve been hearing so many positive things about the wax that I absolutely had to give it a go myself…

I have been an avid eyebrow pencil user for many years now. I have naturally big brows, but they do need filling in to cover gaps – I sometimes pull out my eyebrow hairs when I get stressed; VERY bad habit! Recently I’ve gotten a bit sick of using my usual eyebrow pencil, and have been using a matte brown powder instead. When I Am Natural Store started stocking the incredibly popular EcoBrow wax, I knew I would end up ditch my boring old eyebrow products after buying EcoBrow.

EcoBrow comes in four shades; one for blondes, one for redheads, one for brunettes, and one for dark brunettes. I bought the lighter brunette shade called ‘Penelope’, but was worried it was still going to be slightly too dark for my liking. I also purchased the accompanying EcoBrow Defining Brush, which is double-ended with a spooley brush and a small angled brush.

I have to say I absolutely love EcoBrow so far; the shade ‘Penelope’ is in fact the perfect shade for me (there’s no real discernible difference from how I was doing my brows before with other products). EcoBrow is so lovely to use; you simply dab the angled end of the brush into the pot and then apply to your brows, using the spooley to go back through and make sure the product is properly and seamlessly blended. I found the texture of the product to be more like a gel than a wax – it’s not hard to use at all!

Something to note however is that the pot is very small. However small you think it looks in pictures, beware – it’s even smaller than that! And the brush is not a full length either. However I honestly think this is a good thing; you don’t need a huge pot of product for doing your eyebrows, and the brush is actually a really nice size to use. And they are both perfect for travelling as they won’t take up too much room in your make up bag!

I’m finding this eyebrow wax an essential tool in creating big, bold brows to envy the likes of Brooke Shields’!

I’m sure EcoBrow will be another big hit among natural beauty lovers here in Aus, if not already…
