FLOWER POTS: RMS Beauty Review

An rms flower and a handful of little pots of gold…

I am absolutely loving rms beauty. I’ve been using the lip2cheek in ‘Illusive’ since late last year, and it is without a doubt my FAVOURITE product to use. Ever. Seriously, if I could only use one piece of makeup for the rest of my life, I would choose Illusive without a second thought. It is the most beautiful lip and cheek colour; so flattering and rosey and wonderful!!!

Enough about that. I have also been trying a couple of other rms products I picked up not too long ago from Mecca (YAY for natural makeup in mainstream stores!). I purchased the rms eye polish in the shade ‘Magnetic’, as well as the famous ‘Living Luminizer’.

‘Magnetic’ is a beautiful silvery metallic taupe cream eyeshadow. As someone who is not an avid eyeshadow wearer, I don’t use it a lot, but it’s exactly the sort of shade I go for when I do decide to put some colour on my eyelids. It’s quite buildable, so I can choose to wear a sheer wash of colour or go for a more dramatic look. I also love the creaminess of it. I haven’t really used many cream eyeshadows in my time, but they’re not as bad as some people make them out to be. This eye polish makes my eyelids feel hydrated, not sticky at all. While I do love the shimmer in ‘Magnetic’, I would love to see some more matte taupe brown eye polish shades from rms beauty in future. I’m sure they’d be a hit.

Now for the real deal; the Living Luminizer. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve seen a rave review of this product, I would have many, many dollars…

But seriously, it’s not hard to see why it’s a hit. Let me tell you, it IS all it’s cracked up to be.

Dewy dewy dewy. The end.

It’s. sooooooooooo. gosh. darn. beautiful. on.

The Living Luminizer is basically colourless, I would say. It just gives a clear, sheer glow to the skin that looks so natural. I love it so much! It’s beautifully light-reflecting too.

In relation to the Kjaer Weis ‘Radiance’ highlighter, I can’t really compare the two as they are just different. ‘Radiance’ gives more of a matte, lavender shimmer (if that even makes sense), while the Living Luminizer gives more of a dewy glow than shimmer. They’re both beautiful in different ways, and I use them at different times depending on what sort of makeup look I’m going for.

To conclude, I am becoming a real fan of cream makeup! I’m moving further and further away from powders, and there’s nothing wrong with that in my opinion!

I hope to try more rms beauty products in future.

Love, Paige.
