Face: I start by preparing my skin with rose water toner, and then a few drops of pure jojoba oil – The Jojoba Company is my favourite brand to use. I then use the Sukin Facial Moisturiser and apply my Ere Perez foundation with a brush, or, if I feel like lighter coverage, I mix the foundation with my moisturiser and apply with my fingers.

Brows: The only product I use to fill in my eyebrows is the Ere Perez Natural Almond Oil Eyebrow Pencil. I absolutely love it! It’s a perfect match to my old favourite The Body Shop eyebrow pencil in the shade Brunette/02. However, this is the only shade that Ere Perez currently makes, which I think is a bit of a problem as it is definitely not the perfect colour for everyone. Nevertheless, it’s a great pencil for those of us with darker brows, and it’s very easy to apply. It also has a handy little brow brush on the lid. The only problem I have with this pencil is that it needs to be sharpened almost every time I use it, as the natural oils in it make it blunt quite quickly.

Eyes: I like to keep my eye makeup very simple. I don’t particularly like wearing eyeshadow or eyeliner of any kind; I prefer to wear only mascara. I simply curl my eyelashes and then apply my Ere Perez Natural Almond Oil Mascara on my top lashes only. This mascara is my absolute favourite! It’s so good that I don’t even feel any desire to try any other natural mascaras on the market, as I’ve already found my ‘holy grail’. I love that its base ingredient is sweet almond oil; this means that when it starts to dry out a bit, I can just grab my bottle of sweet almond oil and roll the mascara wand in a small amount of it to bring it back to life!

Lips: I have really, really, really dry lips. For reals. I find wearing lipstick a bit hard as my lips become chapped within minutes of application, but I can’t possibly leave the house without some colour on my lips, so you can see my dilemma! Luckily, I have found some wonderful lip products. I love using Lucas’ Papaw Ointment on my lips – this stuff is incredibly hydrating. I don’t go anywhere without it! It’s an absolute everyday essential. It’s also so easy to purchase – it’s stocked at supermarkets! I always use this ointment to prepare my lips before I apply any lip colour. My current favourite everyday lip colour is definitely the rms beauty Lip2Cheek in the shade Illusive. It’s very hydrating and long lasting on my lips. I apply it straight from the pot using my middle finger and dab it all over my lips. I then like to use any leftover product on my finger as a bit of cheek blush, simply swirling it on each cheek until blended.

This my favourite method of applying makeup each day. The finished result is a very simple, natural-looking makeup look that will keep you looking and feeling fresh all day long.
