The lowdown:
I am very picky about highlighters/illuminators. The champagne-coloured glittery highlighters that dominate the market never seem to give me the natural ‘glow’ I’m after, which frustrates me more than it should.
Enter Kjaer Weis Radiance; a stunningly beautiful lavender-tinted cream highlighter.
When Radiance was released, I knew it was about time I treated myself to a splurge on a piece of high-end natural makeup.
I was not disappointed! This lavender-toned highlighter is so different to other highlighters on the market, and much more flattering.
Farewell, champagne shades. You will not be missed!
The only aspect of the product I can fault is its price. Retailing at AU$60*, it is most definitely a high-end piece of organic makeup, but it is oh-so worth it. Like all Kjaer Weis products, its packaging is impeccable. You get what you pay for.
Marvellously, Kjaer Weis products are refillable; designed so that you pay a high price only once (for the fully packaged product), and from then on you simply buy a refill, at a much lower cost, to replace your empty pot. How nifty!

Application:
I like to use my fingers to apply this highlighter. Using my middle finger and ring finger, I simply swipe some from the pot and blend onto my skin with the warmth of my fingers. I like to apply Radiance liberally on my face. I gently pat it all over my eyelids (as well as the inner and outer corners), above my cheekbones, on my brow bone, the middle of my forehead, down the middle of my nose (right to the tip), and finally my cupid’s bow.

Finish:
The creamy highlight gives off that perfect ‘glowing-from-within’ look, with just the right amount of sheen. It provides a beautiful shimmery finish to the skin, without that tacky glittery/sparkly look.
I think the colour is absolutely stunning, and flattering on all skin tones. It looks positively divine at night when it catches the light.

* AUD$60 is the price I paid for my ‘little red box’, purchased from I Am Natural Store. However, the price has since risen to $76. I still think it is definitely worth the splurge, and refills are only $46.
